Our Story
Conveyor systems manufacturer in India for unit & bulk material handling.
Established in 1991 in Kolkata, India, Maschinen Fabrik is a now second generation, family-run engineering company with German technical collaborations to manufacture reliable industrial equipment for traditional as well as specialized conveying, conforming to strict international standards.
The company’s primary activities include design, dimensioning, development, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supply, erection and commissioning and services post-completion of projects, such as plant operator training and maintenance.
Maschinen Fabrik’s primary engineering foundations are based on German material handling and conveyor system technologies, and it holds several licenses, representations, technical agreements and collaborations with dominant companies from the same field in Europe and the USA.
It has undertaken over 1700 material handling projects and served over 100 multinational, industry-leading companies in the food, spices, pharmaceuticals, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), battery, chemical, steel, glass, fertilizer, rayon, pigment manufacturing, nuclear, defense, explosives and space research industries — among others.
The company owns its own R&D and training as well as manufacturing facilities, and has an international export volume of around 11%.

Conveyability tests are conducted in our in-house Research and Development Center. Throughout the development process, we keep in touch with you, providing insights, feedback and updates. Manufacturing happens in our local facilities and is overseen closely by our design engineers. After dispatch, our site engineers take care of erection and commissioning at the customer’s site.
